Incentives for EV Charging at Multifamily Properties

Multifamily properties are eligible for incentives of up to $50,000 for installing EV charging on site for residents. Multifamily property owners with at least four units can apply.

Funding DC Fast Charging Near Multifamily Housing

SVCE is offering electric vehicle (EV) fast charger installation incentives of $50,000 per charger and up to $200,000 per site in high-priority zones to help accelerate electric vehicle adoption by multifamily residents living nearby. Learn more about the program, eligibility, selection criteria, and explore the map of priority zones.

Applications will be evaluated, and best-fit projects will be selected for funding. The application window closed November 15th, 2022. Selected sites will be announced soon.

FutureFit Fundamentals Contractor Training

Prepare to serve the growing demand for all-electric technologies as building codes increasingly favor electrification and residents are choosing to switch to all-electric. Qualified contractors, apprentices and journeypersons can receive a $500 stipend upon completion of the online course, FutureFit Fundamentals.

Emergency Load Reduction Program (ELRP)

Help prevent power outages this summer with the Emergency Load Reduction Program. This program pays registered commercial customers for reducing electricity load during a critical event. With no penalty for not reducing load during events, it is a win-win to participate and get paid.

Building Electrification Technical Assistance

To support the development of all-electric buildings and electric vehicle readiness, Silicon Valley Clean Energy is working with TRC to provide extensive, free, technical assistance to architects, builders, developers, design engineers, contractors, and energy consultants on all-electric building technologies and electric vehicle infrastructure.

The SVCE Data Hive is a flagship pilot project with UtilityAPI awarded through SVCE’s Innovation Onramp. It will make initiating clean energy projects quicker and easier for everyone involved whether you are getting a quote for a solar installation, electric vehicle charger or energy efficiency upgrade.

The SVCE Data Hive will streamline this process by providing instant, authorized and secure access to standardized energy data needed to provide a project quote. This project will help reduce friction in the market – by addressing both the cost and hassle of getting authorized access to customer data, as well as empower customer choice and support local businesses.
