Residents and businesses in the SVCE service area are automatically enrolled in the SVCE GreenStart electric service option. As a customer, you have a choice to participate or return back to PG&E’s electric service.

The SVCE base electric plan, GreenStart, comes from renewable sources such as solar, wind and geothermal and other carbon-free resources. New customers are automatically enrolled in this plan, which costs less than PG&E.
*Sourced from wind, solar, geothermal, hydro and other renewable and carbon-free energy sources to meet the total annual demand of SVCE customers.

Choose to upgrade to GreenPrime, SVCE’s 100% renewable generation service, and be at the forefront of our community’s commitment to a clean energy future. The 2023 enrollment period for GreenPrime is currently closed. SVCE is evaluating future, additional clean energy offerings for our customers.
Additional GreenPrime Information & Certifications
GreenPrime is sourced from 100% renewable, carbon-free resources, such as solar and wind in California and on the western grid. The power mix of GreenPrime varies each year. Buying GreenPrime further expands generation from these new and competitive renewable energy sources.
The SVCE GreenPrime 100% Renewable Energy product is Green-e® Energy certified, and meets the environmental and consumer-protection standards set forth by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions. Learn more at www.green-e.org
