Live Energy Advisor Helps Residents Take Action to Achieve a Safe, Healthy, and Efficient Electric Lifestyle

Silicon Valley Clean Energy launches “Go Electric Advisor”

Sunnyvale, CA — Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) announces the launch of the Go Electric Advisor, a free and personalized live support service to help SVCE customers transition to clean, electric equipment and appliances for their homes and transportation. The Go Electric Advisor concierge service is composed of an entire team of energy experts that are at customers’ disposal.

“I had a chance to ask a Go Electric advisor about rebates and their opinion on a few installation options for my heat pump water heater,” said Bob Mayo, an SVCE customer and Mountain View resident. “I’m pleased to say the advisor was friendly and knowledgeable, and my new water heater is now installed and operating smoothly.”

SVCE customers can have their questions answered, receive guidance on available incentives and rebates, and develop a customized “Go Electric Plan” – whether they are just beginning to explore going electric or are ready to replace specific appliances, vehicles or upgrade their entire home! Additional services include virtual energy audits, help finding a contractor, solar and battery storage information, assistance reviewing project quotes, and application guidance.

“Residents may face a variety of barriers when they go electric,” said Tina Walia, SVCE Board Chair and Saratoga Councilmember. “The Go Electric Advisor is designed to reduce these barriers by empowering customers with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their options. This personalized guidance and expert advice will make the transition to electric living as smooth, affordable and effortless as possible.”

Over 50% of local emissions come from burning fossil fuels to power homes and vehicles; this use of fossil fuels poses short- and long-term health risks to the community. The electric alternatives, from vehicles to stoves to space heaters, use SVCE’s clean electricity and do not release any emissions. Residents and businesses in Silicon Valley can create a safe, clean and healthy future; and the Go Electric Advisor is a resource built to make the journey possible for all community members.

To access the Go Electric Advisor, customers can reach out to an Energy Advisor at 1-833-243-4235 or visit svce.info/gea to start a live chat or send an email message. Live support is available Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST, excluding holidays.
