Expands utility, C&I, and residential energy services expertise for the agency
Sunnyvale, Calif. – Adam Selvin has been appointed the new Director of Energy Services and Community Relations for Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE). Adam brings more than 20 years of energy industry experience, including provision of energy efficiency services for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, and implementation of new time-of-use rate programs for residential customers. As Director, Adam will oversee marketing, communications, electricity services, and customer relations strategic planning and implementation.
In his previous role as C&I Practice Director at CLEAResult, Adam advanced and developed program offerings across the C&I sectors, strengthening program profitability and increasing customer utilization. Before CLEAResult, he was a Principal Customer Strategic Planner at PG&E where he worked cross-functionally to implement and communicate new rate structures to customers and improve customer access to critical utility data.
Adam’s broad customer engagement and program experience will contribute to further engaging the SVCE community including building on existing C&I relationships and offerings. Adam’s focus areas at SVCE will include empowering customers to make effective clean energy choices, enacting competitive energy service offers that deliver measurable environmental and economic benefits, and engaging a full range of stakeholders to leverage the agency’s decarbonization efforts.

Adam is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager and holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business
