Follow this checklist to help ensure a smooth installation day

SVCE Full-Service Home Upgrades is here to provide all the support your need to make the transition to clean energy effortless and affordable. This checklist is a quick reference to ensure you feel ready for your home electrification journey

  • Sign the participation agreement that was emailed to you.
  • A contractor will contact you to schedule your installation. Mark the confirmed date & time on your calendar.
  • Review your appliance options. We offer a limited selection of standard products. Please consult with your contractor to determine which appliance option(s) is best for your home.
  • Plan to be available for the entirety of the installation (estimated time can vary).
  • Ensure all areas of your home are accessible for the installation.
  • If you have tenants, notify them of the installation.
  • Make a list of any specific energy concerns or questions you have.
  • Be available to walk the contractor through your home and answer any questions they may have.
  • Keep pets and children away from any job sites for the safety of your family and the contractor.
  • If your installation will take longer than one day, the contractor will schedule any follow-up appointments.
  • Discuss how to operate and maintain your new upgrades with the contractor. Make sure you know where to find product warranty and contact information before the contractor leaves.
  • Review this guide on how to get deeper discounts and increased bill savings with your new equipment. Discuss any questions you may have with your contractor.
  • Pay any costs to the contractor, if applicable.
  • Work with your contractor to schedule any building inspections.
  • Reach out to support if you need help with changing your rate plan or understanding your bill. You may see some changes to your utility bills as you switch from gas to electric appliances – this can be due to equipment use, weather, utility rate fluctuations, or days in a billing cycle.
