2024 Electric Yard Care Promotion

Spruce Up Your Garden with Electric Tools

Gasoline-powered yard care equipment is noisy, polluting, and puts our health at risk. However, transitioning to electric tools can benefit you in more ways than just making your yard look better.

According to the California Air Resources Board, using a gas lawn mower for an hour emits as many pollutants as a car driving for four hours, or about 300 miles. A leaf blower is even worse, emitting as much pollution as a 1,100-mile journey in just one hour of use.

Consider sprucing up your garden with electric yard care equipment instead.  You can enjoy the same power as traditional gas-powered tools while benefiting from quieter operation, easier maintenance, and zero direct emissions. To help with the switch, SVCE offers $50 off of electric lawn mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws and trimmers (weed whackers) through the Appliances Assistant.
