Better Together

Silicon Valley Clean Energy, the not-for-profit energy provider serving 13 communities in Santa Clara County, is thrilled to partner with local organizations for outreach support and program feedback. We are seeking up to five community-based organizations to join us in creating a positive impact.

By partnering, we can enhance community awareness and participation in clean energy initiatives and ensure that our programs effectively meet the needs of our diverse service area.

Scope of Collaboration

We are looking for paid partners who have the capacity to engage in outreach efforts, provide constructive feedback on our programs, or participate in joint initiatives that promote clean energy awareness. We kindly ask that you fill out our intake form by May 31, 2025.

Outreach:

With a budget of up to $21,400, we are eager to work with CBOs on various outreach efforts, including:

Community workshops to educate residents about clean energy, our programs, and energy efficiency.
Field outreach that includes door-to-door, call campaigns, pop-ups, event tabling, and more.
Collaborative campaigns that engage and empower residents to take action.

Your insights are invaluable! With a budget of up to $3,600, CBOs can play a key role in providing feedback on our existing programs and suggesting improvements for future initiatives. This collaborative approach ensures that our efforts are aligned with community needs.

1. What are the ideal partners for this opportunity?
We are seeking partners who align with our values of reducing the use of fossil fuels and enhancing community awareness about available resources that contribute to safer, cleaner, and healthier environments.

2. Does my organization need to have a 501(c)(3) status to participate?
No, your organization is not required to have a 501c3 tax ID to be eligible for this opportunity.

3. Must my organization be located within the SVCE service area to be considered?
While it is not a requirement, we hope to work with organizations that serve and are located in our service area. If your organization is outside our service area, you must demonstrate a track record of successful outreach efforts within our target area.

4. Does my organization need to specialize in energy-focused outreach?
No, prior experience in energy-related outreach is not necessary. However, your organization should be able to showcase successful outreach experience in the communities located in our service area.
