Updated features include an incentive finder and tools that personalize customer electrification journeys
Sunnyvale, CA — Local energy provider, Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE), re-launched its online platform for personalized electrification support and assistance to include an all-new incentive finder for residential customers and updated resources for businesses and contractors.
As part of the agency’s commitment to reinvesting in its customers and community, SVCE offers rebates and programs to reduce barriers to electrification. eHub, the virtual nexus of SVCE resources, is now fully equipped to assist customers through every step of their electrification journey, from finding and stacking incentives to free expert advice and assisted home upgrades.
Customers that visit eHub will now experience:
- Personalized recommendations based on home type through an interactive incentive finder for residential customers.
- Non-residential customers can also find personalized recommendations based on business type and desired program focus through the Business and Contractors Resources webpage.
- A step-by-step guide on the Home Upgrades webpage that offers pathways for full-service upgrades, assisted upgrades, and home rebates.
- An updated Appliance Marketplace for comparing and selecting electric technologies – designed for renters and homeowners.
Following the initial eHub launch in 2017, the site has seen more than 390,000 unique website visits and connected residents in the SVCE service territory to more than 4,500 rebates. The re-launch improves usability while seamlessly integrating customer programs and incentives.
“The new and improved eHub empowers SVCE customers to explore options that make the most sense for their families and lifestyles,” said SVCE Board Chair Tina Walia. “A positive customer experience and journey are central to the SVCE mission; the updated features within eHub make the transition to all-electric living more accessible than ever before.”
At its core, eHub combines electrification education with actionable steps that meet customers where they are. To date, SVCE customers have claimed $2.9 million in rebates for home upgrades and reserved an additional $1.5 million to make the transition from polluting gas to efficient electric equipment.
