SUMMARY:Volunteer Training
DESCRIPTION:With Earth Day right around the corner\, we have many upcoming events where we could use your help! This training will prepare you to discuss all things SVCE and share the benefits of local clean energy with your community as you help us to staff information booths at spring events. Pizza will be provided. \nWe need volunteers for various time slots during the following events: \n\nCupertino Earth Day (Saturday\, April 21)\nMountain View Annual Downtown Family Parade (Saturday\, April 21)\nLos Gatos Spring into Green (Sunday\, April 22)\nCity of Sunnyvale Living Green Fair (Sunday\, April 22)\nBike to the Future at Gilroy Gardens* (Saturday\, May 5)\nMorgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras (Saturday\, May 26 & Sunday\, May 27)\n\n*Bike to the Future is an electric bike competition hosted by SVCE and volunteers will be assisting with e-bike challenges (e.g. timing races\, helping with obstacle course logistics\, etc.). \nPlease contact Julia Dagum\, the Community Outreach Coordinator\, (Julia.dagum@svcleanenergy.org\, 408-721-5301 x1015) if you would like more information. \nRegister for the training here.
